25th birthday pictures

Here are the pictures as I promised.....

I wanted a smokey look for my eyes. So I used Loreal Wear infinite in Lush Raven, and Gosh effect powder in steel.
I used my concealer as a shadow base.
Applied the Gosh eyeshadow in steel, and later applied the Loreal lush raven. I used a combination fo different lipglosses on my lips.
If you are going for a smokey eye, it's best if your lips are not overdone(more like a nude lip colour).

I do apologize for the absence people! OMG! I haven't been here in like a month.

So many things/ events happened while I was away.

I clocked 25 on the 26th of June(it was just so so.......Ok I was almost depressed), but I later had a house party on the 4th of July.

All I can say is live everyday like it's your last, because you may not be here tommorow.

I do believe all is going to be well.

Playing with the blues and the nigerian flag.

Hey all! i hope you are all enjoying your weekend?

So I got to play with my blue eyeshadows about a week ago and did a runway look(naija flag inspired) on one of my classmates in school.
So what do you all think about the naija flag inspired look? My insrtuctor thought it was beautiful, especially with the white shadow in the middle.

Naija 4 life. (although you get on my nerves sometimes).

EYES
-Loreal wear infinite eyeshadow in lush raven
-Quo mineral matter eye duo in sahara sand and sable sahara (base)(shoppers drug mart)
-Bobby brown gel eyeliner in black ink
-Gosh show me volume mascara in black

I can't remember what I used on my lips at this time. I think it was a Mac lipgloss........

My top 5 beauty must haves

So my top five beauty must haves are:

1. lip balm(i can't stand dry cracked lips.......eeew!)
2. lip gloss(i'm always buying lip glosses and i don't know when i'm going to stop)
3. concealer(don't underestimate the power of a concealer. it covers those dark circles)
4. eyeshadows( i love the way they make your eyes pop)
5.cleansers and moisturisers( a girl needs to have a beauty regimen, but some girls don't have any and still have flawless skin. **rolls eyes**.

Review: Benefits Creaseless shadow= MAC sugarsweet Collection

I'm so glad its friday again. The week went by really fast though.
So I said I was going to do put up another review for the creaseless shadow in my last post.

I didn't get to buy one of the colours I blogged about because the store here didn't have those colours in stock, but i picked a really lovely colour in stiletto.


Benefits creaseless shadow

PROS
-beautiful packaging( the container can be used for your make-up samples or balm when it finishes)
-dries faster
-you can use your fingers to apply it on your lids
-creaseless
-highly pigmented

CONS
-you may need a concealer or cream shadow brush
-you may need a primer if you have very oily lids

This is definitely coppable(if there is any word like that....lol)


MAC Sugarsweet collection

I got the lipgloss in tasty and the eyeshadow in dear cupcake.

The lipgloss is of course shiny and longlasting and you may need a shadowbase for easy application( I usually use a creamshadow base). I lined my eyes with annabelle liner in meteorite.

Blogger for dummies+How not to look old

I'm so sorry I've been MIA. The past few days has been rather eventful, because I wrote an exam last saturday, had to work and also started my make-up school. The make up school has been amazing so far.


I seriously need blogger for dummies. I did a post on the review of the sugarsweet collection and the benefit creaseless shadow and everything disappeared... I was so pissed...
